Ian McIntosh, Chinook Football

When quarterbacks get on a roll, usually so does their team. And that's Ian McIntosh and the Chinook Sugarbeeters right now. McIntosh has been red-hot the last two weeks, and as a result, Chinook has advanced to the Class C semifinals. In last Saturday's quarterfinal game against Broadus, McIntosh threw three touchdown passes and ran for a two-yard score in the fourth quarter to put the Hawks away, 40-20. McIntosh has thrown for seven touchdowns in his two playoff games. He's also a standout basketball player for the Sugarbeeters.

Sheridan O'Neil, North Star Volleyball

The North Star volleyball team made a great run at last weekend's Northern C Divisional tournament in Chinook. And though the Knights didn't quite make it to the state tourney, Sheridan O'Neil sure helped her team give it a great ride. O'Neil averaged 13 kills and four blocks over four matches in Chinook last week. She recorded a match-high 19 kills in Saturday's loss to Cascade, as well as 14 kills in a huge win over Chinook, and 12 kills in the opening match of the tournament against Geraldine-Highwood.
