Chinook quarterback Ian McIntosh tossed four touchdown passes and ran for another as the Beeters knocked off Broadus 40-20 in the quarterfinals of the Class C 8-man playoffs Saturday in Chinook at Noon Field.
Broadus was hanging around and trailed 20-14 with 11 seconds before halftime. But then, the Beeters hit a home run as McIntosh found Lane Seymour for a 51-yard touchdown pass to send Chinook into the half ahead 26-14.
The Hawks trimmed the lead to 26-20 midway through the third. But, thanks to another McIntosh touchdown pass, this time to Kenneth Pruttis and a rush touchdown by McIntosh in the fourth, Chinook sealed the 20-point win.
The Beeters will host Fairview next Saturday for a berth in the state championship game.
