Dia De Muertos is a three-day holiday that stretches from Halloween to Nov. 2 and commemorates those who have died. Traditional beliefs maintain the spirits of children come to visit Oct. 31 and the spirits of adults come Nov. 1. Dia De Muertos and the decorations used to celebrate it is a way to remember those who have died.
