Here are activities planned at North Central Senior Center for the coming week:

Monday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (except for medical you have to call in early to make arrangements); painting at 1 p.m.

Tuesday — Election Day – Center closed

Wednesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (except for medical you have to call in early to make arrangements); TOPS at 8 a.m., cards at 1 p.m.

Thursday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (except for medical you have to call in early to make arrangements); Cards at 1 p.m.; flu shot clinic at 11 a.m, to 1 p.m.; Walmart/Kmart shopping at 1 p.m.

Friday — Medical transportation only, but we need to know 24 hours in advance

Pinochle — First, Elva Van Dessel; second, Bev Haugen; third, Marge Houser

Monday — Swedish meatballs, rice, Harvard beets, sliced pears

Tuesday — Election Day, Center closed

Wednesday — Pork chops, mashed potatoes/gravy, wax beans, applesauce bars, milk

Thursday — Swiss steak/peppers/onions/tomatoes, garlic mashed potatoes, creamed peas, pudding

Friday — Soup, salad bar, chef’s choice, dessert, milk

Anyone wanting Meals on Wheels will have to let the kitchen know before 10 a.m. for the meal to be delivered that day. Any request after 10 a.m. will not be delivered until the next day. When you leave a message on the kitchen phone, please include the date that you are calling.
