Quick Pic: Earning his Eagle

Jerid Simonson was awarded his Eagle Scout Rank in Boy Scout Troop 1438 of Havre Sunday in a ceremony at the Van Orsdel United Methodist Church. The Eagle Rank is the highest rank a scout can achieve with only 4 to 5 percent of all Boy Scouts reaching the rank. Simonson successfully completed his Eagle rank Aug. 13 with his Eagle project, which consisted of many hours of cleaning and painting the Havre Food Bank, along with constructing a new wall in the facility and giving new chairs for waiting room.
