Mall Hill crash sends two to hospital

The Montana Highway Patrol reported online a crash that occurred Wednesday evening on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest outside of Havre.

Authorities received a call at 7:58 p.m. and arrived on the scene at 8:00 p.m., the patrol online incident report says.

Troopers were not available this morning to provide any more information.

Havre Fire Dave Sheppard confirmed this morning that emergency medical technicians responded to a crash on the 1100 block of U.S. Highway 2 Northwest where a pickup truck collided with another pickup truck that was towing a trailer.

The pickup with the trailer was overturned on its side and had significant damage. The driver’s side door was missing.

Four individuals were involved in this collision. Two individuals were transported to the hospital and the other two refused treatment.

One of the individuals was trapped in the pickup with the trailer and had to be extracated through the roof of the vehicle.

The patients who were taken to the hospital appear to have non-life-threatening injuries.

The names of those involved and their conditions were not available.
