The Havre Blue Ponies were in trouble early in their Central A Conference opener Friday night in Livingston. But eventually, the HHS offense got rolling. Havre wound up dispatching the Rangers 52-27 for its second straight win.
The Ponies trailed 20-6 in the first quarter, but a Dane Warp TD pass just before half put HHS 26-20 at halftime. From there, HHS outscored the Rangers 26-7 to improve to 1-0 in conference play and 2-4 overall.
