Obituary - James Byron Lyons

James Byron Lyons, 61, passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at Benefis Health Care

Gravesides services will be Saturday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Havre. A reception will follow at the Townhouse Inn.

Jim was born Jan. 14, 1953, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Donald Wesley and Virginia Carol (Payne) Lyons. He married Phyllis “Diller” Heggen on November 7, 1987.  She preceded him in death in December 2009.

Jim worked as a developer and marketer of agricultural chemicals.  He was a member of the Tri-County Shriners, Masonic Lodge #143 and the Scottish Rite.

Survivors include mother, Virginia Lyons of Pittsburg, Kansas; and brothers, Don of Peoria, Arizona, and Dan of Pittsburg, Kansas.
