News you can use
Another school year is just around the corner. Fall activities are beginning, teachers are busy getting rooms and materials ready, parents are getting back-to-school supplies, and students are excited and apprehensive about new classes and/or new teachers.
There's an uneasiness, yet eagerness to get started. For students, it's the next step or school year seemingly huge in a young life.
In 1964, this marked the senior year for me and my classmates and the opening of the "new" Havre High School building. It brought great changes for our town.
This marks the 50th year of opportunity for those who have attended Havre High. There have been many excellent teachers and mentors in a huge array of clubs, organizations, activities and athletics providing enormous opportunities for personal growth.
Havre can be very proud of hundreds of administrators, teachers and other staff who have passed through the halls and provided high quality academics and the many thousands of participants who gave their time and talents to a thankful audience.
A place for learning, for excelling, socializing and growing. Yes, 50 years have passed and, as in the past, the future holds such promise.
Go Big Blue.
