Linda L. (McLaughlin) Vallie, 66, passed away on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014 at Northern Montana Hospital of natural causes. A viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at the Vallie Family Cemetery at Lonesome Lake near Big Sandy.

Linda was born on April 7, 1948, in Shelby, Montana, to John McLaughlin and Isabel Morano. They then moved to Great Falls to start a family, where Linda met her soulmate, James Vallie. After dating a few months, the couple married and moved to Big Sandy. Linda and Jim had three children James 'Buddy,' Denise and Tom Vallie.
Linda was a free-spirited soul. She loved farming, raising her three children, making candles, being a homemaker, riding on the back of her husband's Harley, working in their motorcycle shop and spending time with her family.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Vallie; son, James 'Buddy' Vallie; both of her parents, John and Isabel; brother, Bobby McLaughlin; and great-grandson Adrian Small.
She is survived by her daughter Denise (Kevin) Harmon; son, Thomas (Michelle) Vallie; five grandchildren, Ariana (James) Walker, Reggie (Nikki) Teske, Sheena (Gary) Cowan, Kyler (Katie) Vallie, and Alyssa Vallie; four great-grandchildren, Mitchell Koop, Gabriella Small, Isabella Cowan and Weston Vallie and numerous friends and family that she loved dearly.
