News you can use
I would like to thank the Havre Fire Department ambulance crew who responded to the emergency call June 1, 2014, at Scotty's Ice Cream. Thank you for your professionalism, expertise and understanding and for not letting me go home. While I chose to ride with my granddaughter and her boyfriend instead of being transported by ambulance, your kindness and insistence that I go to the hospital is the reason I am able to thank you today instead of residing at the morgue.
To the Northern Montana Hospital ER nurses and Dr. Eric Sandstrom, thank you for your expertise and professionalism in caring for me. It seemed one minute things were fine and the next minute things were very exciting. I understand today that I am living proof that CPR can and does work. I have the ability to write this letter because of your quick action and total dedication. Also thank you for your concern and understanding for my family. When I awoke June 2, I was told by my nurse at Benefis CICU that the NMH ER staff had called the night before to insure that I had arrived safely via Mercy Flight and also inquired about how my family was doing.
How can one say a proper thank you for saving my life? I can't. This is the best I can do: thank you.
Thank you to the Benefis Mercy flight crew that came to Havre to transport me.
Thank you to Scotty at Scotty's Ice Cream. I am so sorry for the disruption at your business.
Thank you to my family and friends who prayed for me, sent cards, called and texted to check on my condition and visited me at Benefis and after I returned home. I am so blessed to have received the best of care and a lot of love and prayers.
