Kristen Torunn Maya Reign Montes, 1 year old, of South Sioux City, Nebraska, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Native American Services were held Friday, May 23, 2014, in Macy, Nebraska. Mitchell Parker was in charge of services. Visitation was at the residence of Phyllis Thomas in Macy. Burial was at the Omaha Tribal Cemetery.

Kristen is survived by her parents, Erica S. Gone Montes and Trinity B.B.C. Montes III; sisters, Serenity C.R. Gone, Jazlynn Gone and Adalynn Gone; brothers, Kaiden Jaice Gone and Patrick R. Gone Jr.; grandparents, Calvin and Gloria (Grant) Gone, Mark and Wilmena Tailfeathers, Donald Grant, Jefferson Wolf and Jo-Val Campbell; great-grandmothers; Phyllis Thomas and Carol Campbell; uncles, A'Trayio Campbell, William Schutt, Jeremy Gone, Calvin P. Gone III, and Patrick Gone Sr.; aunts, Morgan Tailfeathers, Meghan Tailfeathers and Ventura Campbell; cousins; Jaclyn Gone, Olivia Gone, Sierrah Gone, A'Trayu Campbell Jr., Zander Stump, Adia Bullshoe, David Flammond and Trejan Stump.

Kristen is preceded in death by John T. Oxford, John Edgar Brockie, Sandra Grant Cayou, Brandon Gone, Bernard Montes and Mary Joyce Gone.
