Harlem grads get farewell advice

The 2014 graduating class of Harlem received diplomas in the school's gymnasium Sunday.

"There's been a lot of fears along the way and a lot of triumphs," Principal John Salois said.

Carrigan Jones, the class salutatorian, spoke in front of a full audience at the ceremony.

"I can remember growing up and watching my friends graduate and couldn't wait for my turn," Jones said.

Seth Adams and Trent Noel were the co-valedictorians of the graduating class.

"Forging relationships is one of the perks of going to a small school," Adams said.

Blaine County School Super-intendent Terry Brockie was the commencement speaker at the ceremony.

"Our time is limited so let's not waste it living someone else's life," Brockie said.
