Gina Dahl named to state board

Hill County Attorney Gina Dahl has been named to the Montana Public Safety Officer Standards and Training Council.

Gov. Steve Bullock made the appointment Friday.

The council, formed in 2007, is an independent quasi-judicial board.

It sets employment and training standards for public safety officers and provides for the certification or recertification of public safety officers and the suspension or revocation of certification of public safety officers.

Dahl has been county attorney for six years. She, like the governor, is a Democrat.
