Doreen Delores Burchard Gault

Doreen Delores Burchard Gault, 76, went home to Jesus on April 9, 2014, at the Brendan House in Kalispell, Mont., surrounded by her loving family.

Doreen was born to Charles and Anne Mae Burchard on Oct. 16, 1937, in Havre, Mont.. She resided in Havre most of her life.

Doreen attended school at St. Jude Thaddeus and Havre Public schools. Doreen was a hard worker her entire life. She was co-owner of two mechanic service stations and her later jobs included Northern Montana Hospital and BNSF Railway. After her retirement from the BNSF in 1998, Doreen, along with her husband, an became avid snowbird, traveling in and around Arizona and Southern California.

Doreen deeply enjoyed being surrounded by her loving family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doreen married Kenneth Leroy Erickson in 1955 until the time of his death in 1985.

In 1989 she married the love of her life Warren Arthur Gault.

Doreen loved the outdoors and the wildlife at their cabin at Seeley Lake, often sitting for hours enjoying the humming birds and the deer from their deck. She even had pet names for a couple of them that came back daily. Another favorite past time was late night card games with her family and friends.

Doreen is survived by her devoted husband Warren and her five Children, Gloria (Raymond) Floren, Havre; Greg (Melissa) Erickson, Havre; Dale (Debbie)Erickson, Havre; Glenda (Monte) Wolverton, Kalispell; Kenny Erickson, Havre; 14 grandchildren; Jamie Smith, Timothy Munyan, Paula Harada, Ashley, Travis Erickson, Tiffany, Troy Worden, Jennifer Breitbach, Stephanie Marsh, Ryan, Chevy Erickson, Jessica, Brandi, Megan Erickson; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alyce (Roy) Matson, Newport, Wash.; Peggy Cloke, Spokane, Wash.; brother Gary Burchard, Spokane, Wash.; sister-in-law June Burchard, Port Orchard, Wash.; Brothers-in-law, Gary Kelley, Spokane, Wash.; Bob Hoffman, Missoula, Mont.; Allen (Charlene) Gault, Rugby, N.D.; Richard (Carol) Gault, Hinsdale, Mt. and numerous nieces and nephews. Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Anne Mae Burchard; mother and father-in-law Lloyd and Lillian Gault; brothers Sam, James and Vernon Burchard; bisters, Evelynn Hoffman, Mary Kelley;

and grandson Lucas Floren.

Rosary service will be Monday, April 14 at 7 p.m., Funeral service will be Tuesday April 15 at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery. Reception following burial will be held at St. Jude Parish Center. Arrangement have been made with Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook, Mont.
