Officers investigated a 12:11 p.m. Wednesday call from Main Street about a counterfeit $20.

Gilbert Francis Werk, 34, of Hays, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after officers responded to a 12:53 p.m. Wednesday call from a 1st Street business about a noncombative shoplifter.

A summons was issued after officers investigated a 4:33 p.m. Wednesday call from 2nd Street about a dog attacking a man with two kids,

Officers investigated a 12:54 a.m. Thursday call from a 1st Street West establishment about three men and one woman who left the bar after their cards were denied, leaving a tab of $70.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Jesika Jelean Blatter, 27, of Havre was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after deputies investigated a 9:29 p.m. Wednesday 911 hang-up from Beaver Creek Road.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded one call Wednesday and two this morning.

Firefighters were called to the 100 Block of 11st Street at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday to a gas smell that turned out to be from a burner on an oven.
