Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a 7:02 a.m. Tuesday call from Pine Drive about a vehicular hit and run and an arrest was made.

Legrand Chad Cazier, 29, of Havre was arrested on a charge of trespassing after officers responded to a 9:17 a.m. Tuesday call from a 3rd Avenue business about a man the caller said needed to be removed.

Atraeu Jacob Belcourt, 22, of Havre was arrested on a charge of violating a protective order after officers received a 9:56 a.m. Tuesday complaint at the police station.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on charges of underage tobacco possession or consumption and criminal contempt after officers responded to a 1:47 p.m. Tuesday call from Havre High School.

Officers investigated a 3:21 p.m. Tuesday report at the police station about someone hitting a parked vehicle.

Brandon Cole Velasquez, 18, of Box Elder was arrested on charges of shoplifting, obstructing a peace officer and a Justice or City court warrant after officers responded to a 3:58 p.m. Tuesday call from a 1st Street business about a shoplifter.

Jordan James Normandy, 21, of Havre was arrested on a charge of contempt for which justice of the peace may punish after officers assisted another law agency at 9:58 p.m. Tuesday at a 2nd Street business.

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday.

Animal Shelter

A black and tan female mix-breed puppy was placed in the shelter Jan. 27, a brown, white and tan male heeler-mix Feb, 25, a black male Lab-mix Feb. 21, a brown, black and white female mix-breed puppy Feb. 23, a black and white heeler-mix Feb. 28 and a gray male cat Feb 27.
