Central A Tournament: HHS boys fall to Belgrade in championship, still go to state

The Havre Blue Ponies came up shirt in their bid for a Central A championship Saturday night in Belgrade. But the Blue Ponies are headed to the Class A state boys tournament for the first time in eight years. Havre lost 50-41 to Belgrade in the championship game, but because Browning finished third, the Ponies do not have to play in a challenge game to advance to state.

The Blue Ponies will play the Northwest A champion Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls.
