On a busy day of high school basketball, the Hi-Line crowned two more district champions and will send two more Class B teams to divisional tournaments. In Cut Bank Saturday night, the Rocky Boy Stars beat Fairfield 72-65 to claim the 1B championship and advance to the Northern B Divisional tournament.
Meanwhile, in Conrad, the Chester/J-I girls were stunned by Simms-Augusta in the 10C championship game. The Tigers beat the Hawks, who were trying to win their fourth straight 10C title, 47-36. Also in Conrad, the C/J-I boys rallied to place third by beating Dutton-Brady in the 10C consolation game. The Hawks will challenge Power on Monday night for a Northern C berth.
In the 2B tourney in Malta Saturday, both the Harlem boys and girls teams won consolation games to advance on to divsionals, while the Rocky Boy girls finished fourth in the 1B and will also move on to the Northern B.
