9C Girls: Chinook earns back-to-back titles

Make it two in a row and three of the last four for the Chinook Sugarbeeters. On Saturday night at the Havre High gymnasium, the Beeters earned a repeat as District 9C champions, beating the North Star Knights 43-32. For the second straight season, the Beeters and Knights will represent the 9C at next week's Northern C Divisional in Great Falls.

Makhayla Farmer scored 16 points to lead the Beeters, whiole Mackenzie Hansen notched 13 for the Knights. Earlier in the day, Big Sandy defeated Box Elder in the consolation game.
