Jenna Meldrum, left, and Kyra Cornelius high five during Saturday's mural reception at the Havre-Hill County Library.
Two walls of the children's reading room in the basement of the Havre-Hill County Library were painted with the original creations of Vince Woodwick and the teen girls Woodwick has been instructing over the past year. Havre Mayor Tim Solomon led the ribbon cutting Saturday and about 60 people showed up for the reception.
Woodwick has also led the Library Art Display - LAD - project at the library. The LAD project gives young artists the chance to display their artwork in the library meeting room.

Way to go Vince & girls. It is so nice to read about something like this for a change. Nice use of time and talent.
