Hill County Sheriff’s Office
Joseph Cliff Simpson, 23, of Havre was served a state District Court warrant at the Hill County Detention Center at 3:50 p.m. Thursday.

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday.

Firefighters were called to the 1000 Block of Lincoln Avenue at 8:39 p.m. Thursday to address a storage shed fire. The shed was being used for woodwork and the fire, which caused about $20,000 in damages to the structure and the content, was caused by hot ashes.
