Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle, noninjury motor vehicle crash was investigated after officers received a 2:18 p.m. Friday call from a 2nd Street business.

Joseph Werk, 41, of Hays was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and no insurance after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 6:16 p.m. Friday at a 1st Street business.

Elthia Lerita Shawn Potts, 23, of Havre was arrested for an undisclosed charge after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 8:58 p.m. Friday on Lincoln Avenue.

Scott Douglas Sheppard, 29, of Havre was issued a summons for violating restriction on a driver’s license after an officers made a motor vehicle stop at 1:10 a.m. Saturday on Lincoln Avenue.

Someone was arrested for undisclosed charges after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 1:47 a.m. Saturday on 2nd Avenue.

Officers investigated a 7:31 a.m Saturday call from 10th Avenue West about property stolen from the calling party’s house.

Timothy Jowell Brekhus, 27, of Havre was arrested on charges of unlawful transactions with children and probation violation and Sarai Laurine England, 20, of Havre was arrested on charges of criminal contempt, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession after officers responded to an 11:57 a.m. Saturday call from Monroe Avenue about a man breaking the calling party’s windshield.

Officers investigated a vehicular hit and run after receiving a 12:13 p.m. Saturday call from 1st Street Northeast.

Officers increased patrol in an area where vehicles were gone through after responding to a 4:08 p.m. Saturday call from 4th Avenue about property that was found under a pine tree.

Tanna Dale Windyboy, 34, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after officers responded to a 4:58 p.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street business about a woman with a warrant who was parked at the business.

Officers investigated a 6:25 p.m. Saturday call from a 2nd Street business about a motor vehicle crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Officers investigated an 8:23 p.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street business about a man who shoplifted a 12-pack of beer from the store.

———

Officers investigated a 12:14 a.m. Sunday complaint at the police station about the complainant’s sister and a possible temporary restraining order violation.

John Jerry Allery, 20, of Havre was arrested on charges of MIP, disorderly conduct, criminal contempt and resisting arrest after officers responded to a 1:33 a.m. Sunday call from 13th Street West where the calling party just told officers the address while a lot of yelling was heard in the background.

Stephen David Mills, 48, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after officers responded to a 1:56 a.m. Sunday call from 7th Street, in which the calling party said his female friend said she was raped.

Three people were arrested after officers responded to a 2:12 a.m. Sunday call from the 13th Street West area about juvenile status offenses.

Jamie Staley, 26, of Lodgepole was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and Thomas Mccabe III, 34, of Dodson was arrested on a charge of violation of a protective order after officers responded to a 10:39 a.m. Sunday call from 1st Street Northeast about a man who should not be there.

Officers investigated a 12:45 p.m. Sunday call from the Havre-Hill County Library about an attempted break-in.

Officers investigated a 6:18 p.m. Sunday call from a 1st Street business about someone hitting the business’ building with their vehicle.

Matthew Charles Chapman, 23, of Havre was arrested on a charge of sexual intercouse without consent after officers responded to a 7:01 p.m. Sunday call from 1st Street Northeast about a disturbance at the calling party’s neighbor’s home.

Crystal Dawn Moreno, 34, of Havre was arrested on charges of shoplifting, obstructing a peace officer and probation violation and Rebecca Lynn Lightfoot, 40, of Havre was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release after officers responded to a 10:57 p.m. Sunday call from a 1st Street West business about a “beer boogie.”

Officers investigated a vehicular hit and run after receiving a 1:07 a.m. Monday call from a 1st Street establishment.

Jacob John Byl, 27, of Havre was arrested on charges of assault and criminal contempt after officers responded to a 1:33 a.m. Monday call from a 1st Street business about a fight going on between five men outside of the bar.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 4:20 p.m. Friday call from Road 300 Northwest about a sign that was stolen.

Dustyn Dean Sutherland, 30, of Box Elder was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 11:09 p.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 87.

Melissa Ann Findley, 34, of Box Elder was arrested on a Justice Court warrant after deputies assisted the Rocky Boy Police Department at 3:23 a.m. Saturday on Box Elder Road.

Deputies investigated a 3:55 p.m. Saturday call from 4th Street West about a camper window that was vandalized.

———

Michelle Renee Yallup, 29, of Great Falls was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and no insurance after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 12:44 a.m. Sunday on Main Street.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday, four calls Saturday, one call Sunday and two calls this morning.

Firefighters were called to the 1000 Block of 11th Street at 11:03 a.m. Saturday to address a downed power line that was unlodged when the pole was hit by a vehicle.

Firefighters were called to the 6000 Block of U.S. Highway 87 at 2:12 p.m. Sunday to address a downed power line. The cause of the break was not discovered, but NorthWestern Energy was called to repair the line.
