Havre woman claims $100,000 Montana Millionaire prize

Teresa Roberts bought a Montana Millionaire lottery ticket at the tavern show owns, Tip It Bar.When she checked the numbers, she found out she w had won.

Teresa is a regular Lottery player who picked up two Montana Millionaire tickets this year.

She checked the winning numbers right after the drawing and was so surprised she won, she called Lottery headquarters three times to verify the numbers were correct before she believed it.

Teresa is still debating how to spend her extra cash, but part may go toward a few home improvements.

The $1 million grand prize and two $10,000 prizes from the Dec. 31 Final Drawing are yet to be claimed.

The Montana Lottery was created by referendum in 1986. Since then, it has paid over $465 million in prizes and returned approximately $210 million to the State of Montana.
