Lois was born on March 12, 1929, in Havre, an only child adopted by Oliver and Martha (Bostrack) Lodahl. She was raised on the family farm north of Havre and attended school locally, graduating from Havre High School. Lois worked in retail clothing in Havre for many years, and regretted her retirement as she missed the daily social interaction with others.
In 1950, she married Charles G. Barsanti, and the couple remained in Havre until Chuck's death in 2012.
Lois was a classy lady who adored her dogs and loved doting on her husband Chuck. She took particular care in her flower gardening, especially her red geraniums. She was also a meticulous cleaner who enjoyed HGTV, updating her home, and going for rides to the train station with Chuck and Murphy. She and Chuck loved Christmas and decorating for Christmas, eating out at Andys, and getting the occasional Dairy Queen treat. She was also a lifetime member of First Lutheran Church.
Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Charles Barsanti; and her parents, Oliver and Martha Lodahl.
She is survived by her beloved dog Murphy; her aunt, Sally Smith of Washington; her husband's beloved relatives; and her many friends and neighbors.
