Friday's Prep Basketball: Class AA Bison sweep Blue Ponies

The Havre High boys and girls basketball teams had tough first outings of the new year. In Havre, the Class AA Great Falls High Bison beat the Blue Pony boys 62-47, while the Pony girls came up just short against the Bison at the Swarthout Fieldhouse in Great Falls Friday night. The Bison upended the Ponies 54-51.

Both Havre High teams will be at the HHS gymnasium Saturday to face Class B Malta. The girls game is set for 5 p.m. and the boys tip off at 6:30 p.m.
