Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle, noninjury crash was investigated after officers received a 2:52 p.m. Thursday call from 2nd Street.

Renee Jean Denny, 63, of Box Elder, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after officers responded to a 4:03 p.m. Thursday call from a 1st Street business.

Officers responded today to a 12:32 a.m. call from 16th Avenue about a woman who was assaulted by her husband.

Joshua James Fredrick Nimmick, 35, of Havre was arrested on a charge of stop sign violation after an officer made a motor vehicle stop today at 2:56 a.m. in an alley between 1st and 2nd Street.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies responded to a 9:42 a.m. Thursday call from Clear Creek Road about hay that had fallen off a semitrailer and broken a fence.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls overnight.

Firefighters responded to a 3:53 p.m. Thursday call to the 300 Block of 13th Street West where a carbon monoxide detector was going off. NorthWestern Energy was called to measure the CO levels. Workers found a minor amount, and began an investigation into the cause.
