Loretta Leona Burnell

Loretta Leona Burnell, 83, passed away at Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, Mont. She has been cremated and a private family graveside service is being planned. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements and services. Loretta was born on Sept. 27, 1930, to William and Bertha (Miller) Aevermann in Rudyard, Mont. She spent most of her life in Havre; working at the Park Hotel. She loved to embroider dish towels. Loretta was a stubborn, spunky German through and through, but would do anything for anyone. She had a heart of gold.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters Jane Nix of Carnegie, Okla., Judy Almeida of Fort Worth, Texas, Janice Sumner and Barbara Burnell of Havre, Mont., and Char Urresti of Caldwell, Idaho; her sister Lydia Gustafson of Kalispell, Mont .; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
