Marilyn Joyce (Burfield) Welsh, 83, a Hingham homemaker who loved dancing, bowling, golfing, reading, bird-watching, and playing games, cards and Bingo, died Dec. 13, 2013, at Liberty Medical Center in Chester.
Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at Hingham Lutheran Church with a reception to follow. Her ashes will be buried later this spring at Highland Cemetery in Havre. Arrangements are being handled by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester. Memorials can be made to Wheat Country Estates in Chester, Hill County Volunteer Ambulance Service in Rudyard or a charity of the donor's choice.
Marilyn is survived by one daughter, Linda (Aaron) Boehm of Rudyard; three grandchildren, Dani Jo Kline and Tiffany Rettig of Rudyard and Brian Boehm of Belgrade; five great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Ted Burfield of Missoula and Rita Dees of Havre. She was preceded in death by husband, Chet in 2007; an infant daughter; a sister, Patsy; and her brother, Billy.
