Friday's Prep Basketball: Havre boys win, girls fall in Malta

The Havre High boys basketball team opened the season with a 44-38 win Friday night in Malta, led by sophomore Dane Warp's 17 points. Meanwhile, the Blue Pony girls dropped their season-opener to the M-Ettes, 47-37. The Pony girls host CMR Saturday, while the boys are in Great Falls to take on the Class AA Rustlers.
