Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a 4:11 p.m. Monday call from 4th Street about the calling party’s PT Cruiser going through a hit and run.

Officers investigated a 4:14 p.m. Monday call from a 1st Street West business about a white Oldsmobile that was bit behind the store.

Officers investigated a 4:46 p.m. Monday call from a 9th Avenue business about an item missing from a hotel room.

———

A 41-year-old Box Elder man was arrested for criminal contempt and trespassing after officers responded to a 8:05 p.m. Monday call from 3rd Street about a man trying to enter the calling party’s door.

———

A 48-year-old Havre man was arrested for trespassing and criminal contempt after officers responded to an 11:52 p.m. Monday call from a 1st Street business about a man trying to enter a vehicle.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 10 a.m. Saturday call from U.S. Highway 2 about a vehicle that looked like it had maybe been broken into.

A 57-year-old Box Elder woman was arrested for shoplifting after deputies responded to a 5:57 p.m. Saturday call from a U.S. Highway 2 business reporting a shoplifter.

A 31-year-old Havre man was arrested on an outstanding Justice Court warrant and failure to carry or produce proof of insurance at a motor vehicle stop at 9:35 p.m. Saturday on 3rd Avenue.

A summons was issued to a 20-year-old Havre man and inmate at the Hill County Detention Center for criminal mischief after deputies received a 12:32 p.m. Monday complaint about an inmate that needed to be charged.

Deputies investigated a 6:12 p.m. Monday call from the hospital about the calling party being bit in a field south of the middle school.

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday.

Animal Shelter

A black female cat was placed in the shelter Oct. 16.

A male black lab puppy was placed in the shelter Oct. 26.

A black and tan male cat was placed in the shelter Oct. 27.

A black and tan female German shepherd was placed in the shelter Oct. 28.

A black and white male mix-breed puppy was placed in the shelter Nov. 5.
