The Havre Blue Ponies pulled off a comeback win last week against Miles City, but they couldn't duplicate it Saturday in Columbia Falls. The Northwestern A champion Wildcats (9-0) ousted the Ponies from the playoffs, 47-7 in the Class A quarterfinals Saturday.
The Wildcats scored 26 unanswered points in the second half, after leading HHS 20-7 at halftime. The Ponies' lone score came on a 1-yard Parker Filius run just before halftime. Havre ends its season with a 6-5 record.
