Crystal City Casino, which is connected to the Atrium Mall in downtown Havre, was robbed early Thursday morning.
Not much information about the details of the robbery was released by the Havre Police Department.
At 12:24 a.m. Thursday, officers received a call about a robbery in progress from the casino, according to the dispatch log for that day.
Police were still looking for the suspect as of Thursday, and the police department sent out a press release asking for help from the community.
"The Havre Police Department is looking for any information identifying the suspect. ... The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash," the press release says.
Police have not said what weapon was used in the robbery.
Included with the release was a photo from security camera footage from the morning of the robbery.
Police ask people to contact the Havre Police Department at 265-4361 of the Havre/Hill County Crime Stoppers Line at 265-4444 with any information.
The last casino robbery in Havre was Oct. 19, 2010, when Magic Diamond Casino on U.S. Highway 2 was robbed.
Merrill Gray, of Havre, was sentenced to two years in prison and probation for that crime.

I do think Havre daily news needs to cover more stories of crime that is happening in this town. There is a lot more going on then the community knows. The story is about a casino robbery that is similar to one we had a couple years ago. Casino, robbery, and around this time of year. Why would you not write or mention it.
