Pony harriers run well at Helena Invitational

There is no doubt that the talent at the Helena 7-on-7 Preview Meet is some of the best running talent in the state. And while facing that high level of talent, the Havre High cross country runners were able to turn in some good times of their own.

Thursday, the Central A Blue Ponies ran in Helena at the Bill Roberts Golf Course.

The HHS girls had a strong team showing, finishing with 146 points and as the No. 14 team. The HHS boys also ran strong, finishing with 151 points and as the No. 21 team. The top girls teams included No. 1 Bozeman (10), No. 2 Corvallis (23), and No. 3 Billings Senior (24). And the top boys teams included No. 1 Bozeman (7), No. 2 Glacier High (20), and No. 3 Missoula Hellgate (31).

None of the Pony runners finished in the top 10 of their races, but nearly every runner finished in the top 30.
