What a performance Kelly Olson put on Sunday night. He rolled games of 275, 266, 269 for a total of 810. It was Kelly’s second 800 series having shot one a couple of years ago. Quite a feat considering it was his first night of league this season. Kelly also has three 300 games to his credit. He holds the record for the high series of 822.
College Night is on Thursday's from 8-11 p.m. ll students are welcome, but must show ID.
TOURNEY TRAIL: The John Willey Tournament was held this last weekend with a bowler out of Oregon coming out on top. There was one local bowler who entered. Shawn Mariani failed to quality on Saturday, so he was a spectator on Sunday. He reported there was a lot of very high scores.
The State Senior Tournament is still going on at the Fat Cat Lanes, in Laurel.
Bowlers use 134 muscles in a 4 step approach. Three games of bowling equals one mile walked. An average bowler swings 864 pounds full circle in a three game series.
