Friday's Prep Football: Ponies thump Rangers on homecoming night

Make that two in a row for the Havre High football team. And the Blue Ponies' second straight win was a little sweeter. Havre celebrated homecoming with a 41-22 win over the Livingston Rangers Friday night at Blue Pony Stadium.

The win was revenge for last season's crushing loss at Livingston in the regular season finale. Havre trailed 6-0 in the first quarter, but the Ponies' offense was dominant. Dane Warp threw four touchdown passes, two to Thomas Gruber and two to Nate Rismon as the Ponies improved to 2-2-1 and 1-0 in the Central A.

HHS travels to Belgrade next Friday.
