The 33rd annual Festival Days festivities kick off today to “honor our past and celebrate our future,” which is the theme this year.
“I think it’s going to go pretty darn well,” said Debbie Vandeberg, executive director of the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce.
“The weather report says it’s going to be great this weekend, and I think that’s really going to bring people out.”
Today’s events began at 8 a.m. with the Friends of the Library Book Sale and today’s festivities will be wrapped up with the Hill County Community Foundation’s “A Night on the Town, Discovering Our Past, Influencing Our Future,” at the old post office.
The highlight of the festival is the parade down 5th Avenue starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Festival Days continues Sunday afternoon, celebrating Havre’s 120 years as a city.
