Officers investigated a 10:06 a.m. Tuesday call about a two-vehicle, non-injury crash on 5th Avenue.

A 59-year-old Havre man was arrested at a 1st Street establishment for possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia after Border Patrol agents called for assistance at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday.

A 23-year-old Washington woman was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia after a 1:46 p.m. Tuesday call about two transients trying to purchase food with a card that came back with a “pick up card” message.

Officers investigated a 5:01 p.m. Tuesday complaint about the theft of air conditioners and televisions from a 2nd Street business.

———

Officers issued a summons to an intoxicated minor for MIP and curfew violations after a 12:48 a.m. Wednesday call about the girl passed out in the caller’s yard.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated drug offenses at the detention center at 9:54 p.m. Tuesday.

Births

A girl was born to Scott and Heather DePriest of Chinook on July 29, 2013.

In Tuesday’s issue, the story, ‘Longsoldier case to cost Hill, Blaine $1.35M’, the quote attributed to Hill County Sheriff Don Brostrom about the next step their lawyers plan to take in the case was actually said by Blaine County Sheriff Glenn Huestis.
