Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a report made Tuesday at 1:11 p.m. of people harassing people at a 2nd Street charitable facility.

Officers called at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday to assist a parent on 17th Street West issued a summons to a 16-year-old boy for disorderly conduct, youth in need of intervention and criminal contempt.

Officers investigated a theft report made at the police station at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday.

After receiving a report of a shoplifter at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday at a 1st Street business, officers arrested a 15-year-old for theft, all others, and underage tobacco possession or consumption.

Called to investigate suspicious activity at a 2nd Street business Tuesday at 6:03 p.m., officers arrested a 36-year-old Havre woman on two Justice or City court warrants.

A caller at a 1st Street business reported a finding a red mountain bike Tuesday at 10 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Called to assist a parent Tuesday at 1:04 p.m. or 5th Street West, deputies issued a summons to a 13-year-old girl for juvenile curfew violations.

Deputies assisting another agency at 2:31 p.m. Tuesday at the Hill and Blaine county line, deputies issued a summons to a 36-year-old Dodson man for permitting an unauthorized minor to drive.

Deputies investigated a report made Tuesday at 3 p.m. of a theft at a 5th Street North charity.

Deputies investigated a report made tuesday at 7:41 p.m. of a trailer in Bitterroot trailer park broken into.

After a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a shopper left with stolen goods, responding deputies made an arrest, but no further details were provided.

Havre Fire Department

Tuesday, emergency medical personnel responded to one medical call, and fire crews and NorthWestern Energy investigated two reports of a gas smell, one at the 400 Block of 4th Avenue, the other at the 400 Block of 3rd Street, but neither crew could detect a source of gas.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held a male gray and black cat, a male black and tan cat and a male tan, white and black beagle.

A boy was born July 29, 2013, to Deidra and Austin Cochran Sr. of Fort Belknap.
