Havre Police Department

A caller on Lincoln Avenue reported Monday at 11:01 a.m. that someone had turned on their outside spigot and flooded the basement. Officers investigated the incident.

After a caller from a 1st Street business reported a shoplifter at 4:53 p.m. Monday, responding officers arrested a 32-year-old Hays woman for theft by shoplifting.

Officers investigated a report made Monday at 4:57 p.m. from 4th Avenue of a USB drive stolen from a vehicle.

———

Monday at 8:18 p.m. officers investigated a two-vehicle, noninjury crash at a 1st Street West business.

After a 3rd Street caller reported her niece arriving home intoxicated then leaving again, officers issued summonses to a 15-year-old Havre girl for obstructing a peace officer of other public servant, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and minor in possession and a 16-year-old Havre girl for curfew violation.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a report made Monday at 9:06 a.m. of a theft at Kremlin Bay on Fresno Reservoir.

Monday at 1:30 p.m. deputy at the Hill County Detention Center served a state District Court warrant on a 34-year-old Box Elder man being held at the detention center.

Deputies investigated a theft reported at 1:50 p.m. Monday at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

A deputy served a Justice or City court warrant Monday at 7:18 p.m. to a 35-year-old Box Elder woman being held at the detention center.

Havre Fire Department

Yesterday, emergency medical personnel responded to two medical calls.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two male black and tan cats, a female grey and white kitten, a female brown and black hound, a male brown and black Akita mix, a female black Labrador and a female black and tan cat.

Births

A girl was born July 7, 2013, to Katie L. and Brian L. Big Bow of Box Elder.
