Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a report made at 6:50 a.m. Monday that vehicles had been broken into on Rich Street West.

Monday at 11:04 a.m. an officer on 9th Street arrested a 25-year-old Box Elder man on two Justice or City court warrants.

A caller reported Monday at 11:15 a.m. that a person in Texas had gotten a credit card with the caller's name. Officers are investigating.

———

A caller reported Monday at 2:49 p.m. a man parked in the turning on lane on 1st Street West cleaning chemicals from the road. Investigating officers found that the man was using absorbent materials to clean paint spilled from a truck. No further action was taken.

Officers investigated a report made Monday at 5:48 p.m. of a bike stolen from Jefferson Avenue.

Officers investigated a report made Monday 7:43 p.m. of a window having been broken out of a vehicle.

———

After being called to assist another agency on 3rd Street at 1:43 a.m. today, an officer arrested a 21-year-old Havre man for criminal contempt and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

At 10:33 a.m. Monday a caller in Kremlin reported her son being out of control, and responding deputies arrested a 13-year-old boy for three counts of partner of family member assault.

Deputies investigated a report made Monday at 11:30 a.m. that a purse was stolen at a Box Elder establishment.

Deputies were called to a two-vehicle crash off 2nd Street West at 12:26 p.m. Monday, and an ambulance was dispatched to the scene for a possible injury.

Deputies investigated a report made Monday at 12:59 p.m. of a handbag stolen from a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business.

Disaster and Emergency Services director requested assistance Monday at 8 p.m. to help keep people off Beaver Creek Dam until road department personnel could block the flooded passage.

Havre Fire Department

An emergency medical crew responded to one call Monday. A fire crew was called Monday at 3:04 p.m. to test for gas and then secure the scene on the 600 Block of 7th Avenue until NorthWestern Energy personnel could arrive to repair a gas leak.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held a female tan and white pit bull-mix, a male brown and white pit bull-mix, a female black and white Labrador-mix puppy, a male black and tan cat and a male orange and white cat.
