After a 3rd Street caller reported at 9:03 a.m. Wednesday that her son would not go to school, responding officers arrested the caller, a 41-year-old Havre woman, on charges of partner or family member assault and criminal contempt.

Deputies investigated an incident of fraud activity on a credit card reported Wednesday at 12:11 p.m. by a River Road North caller.

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Wednesday at 4:05 p.m. that items had been stolen from her purse. Deputies investigated the incident.

A caller in Rudyard reported Wednesday at 10:04 p.m. that her daughter had been assaulted.
Havre Fire Department
Overnight, emergency medical personnel responded to two medical calls and made a transfer to Great Falls. A fire crew was called to the 1000 Block of 5th Street at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday after a power line fell to the ground. Fire department personnel stayed onsite until a NorthWestern Energy crew arrived. High winds are suspected to be the cause of the damage.
