Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a report made at 10:21 a.m. Thursday that an outdoor ashtray was stolen from a U.S. Highway 2 East business for the third time.

Thursday at 2:36 p.m. officers assisting probation and parole officers arrested a 20-year-old Havre man on two state District Court warrants.

———

Officers investigated a report made by a 5th Street caller Thursday at 3:59 p.m. that an adult male was following kids home from the bus stop.

———

A 6th Avenue caller reported Thursday at 4:01 p.m. that a bicycle was stolen and asked to register another bike.

———

Officers were asked at the police station Thursday at 5:47 p.m. to investigate an incident that happened earlier in the day.

———

During a motor vehicle stop at 9:34 p.m. Thursday on 1st Street, an officer arrested a 32-year-old Box Elder woman for driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, driving under the influence, headlamp violation and probation violation.

Officers investigated suspicious activity at Montana State University-Northern Thursday at 11:26 p.m.

Friday morning at 1:41 officers investigated a vehicle reported stolen from a 2nd Street West residence.

Officers investigated a hit-and-run reported on 1st Street at 2:19 a.m. Friday.

After a 5th Avenue caller reported a man lying in the street at 3:32 a.m. Friday, responding officers arrested a 27-year-old Havre man for probation violation and disorderly conduct.

Responding to a possible drunken driver call Friday at 10:18 a.m. on 1st Street West, officers arrested a 41-year-old Havre woman for DUI

Officers investigated a possible employee theft from a Montana Avenue business at noon Friday.

An officer serving a warrant at Havre City Court Friday at 3:15 p.m. arrested a 24-year-old Rocky Boy man on a Justice or City court warrant.

Officers investigated a disturbance outside the police station Friday at 7:32 p.m.

During a motor vehicle stop on 14th Avenue Saturday at 1:02 a.m. an officer arrested a 21-year-old Havre man for DUI, speeding, endangering the welfare of children and seat belt violation; a 19-year-old Havre woman for endangering the welfare of children; a 16-year-old Havre boy for MIP and a 15-year-old Havre girl for MIP.

Officers were called to a 1st Street West business Saturday at 2:29 p.m. because a man was passed our on the bathroom floor. The 21-year-old Havre man was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

Officer conducted a welfare check at a 10th Street West residence Saturday at 12:56 p.m.

Officers investigated a broken window on Cleveland Avenue reported at 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

Saturday at 3:38 p.m. officers investigated a missing snow blower reported missing from a 2nd Street residence.

———

At 6 p.m. Saturday a person requested to speak with officers about a possible sex offense. Offices are investigating the incident.

Officers investigated a report of a disturbance at 9:34 p.m. Saturday on 17th Street West.

While investigating a motor vehicle accident on 3rd Street at 10:45 p.m. officers issued a summons to a 19-year-old Havre man for negligent endangerment, MIP, failure to yield the right-of-way and an “other” charge. a 20-year-old Havre man also was arrested for MIP.

Officers assisted the Great Falls Police Department Sunday at 1:02 a.m.

Officers investigated a report made at 1:36 a.m. Sunday of a disturbance at a 1st Street West establishment.

After a 2nd Street caller reported Sunday at 3:03 p.m. a shed being broken into and a lawn mower stolen, officers investigated the incident.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle noninjury crash on 2nd Street Sunday at 3:57 p.m.

After a 16th Street caller reported Sunday at 8:14 p.m. being assaulted by his father, responding officers arrested a 55-year-old Havre man for partner or family member assault and resisting arrest.

Officers investigated a complaint of a motor vehicle driver speeding and driving up onto the sidewalk 5th Avenue at 12:11 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a disturbance reported at 12:01 p.m. Thursday on the west side of Box Elder.

Thursday at 7:51 p.m. near the viaduct, a deputy arrested a 41-year-old Havre man and a 32-year-old Havre man, each on a charge of criminal trespass to property.

———

Deputies investigated a complaint made at 8:08 a.m. Friday of harassing phone calls being made to a resident south of Gildford.

———

After a 26th Avenue West caller reported Friday at 2 p.m. not being able to find her 14-year-old daughter for two day, investigating deputies issued summonses for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant to a 14-year-old Havre girl and a 19-year-old Havre woman.

———

Deputies investigated a report made 6:05 p.m. Friday of a woman not relinquishing her daughter for visitation rights with her father.

———

Deputies investigated a report made from U.S. Highway 2 East Friday at 6:34 p.m. of a puppy having bit a boy who was being taken to the emergency room.

———

Deputies assisting another agency investigated a report made at 2:22 p.m. Saturday that parents on Ford Avenue were receiving threats from Alaska.

———

Deputies were called to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway area at 4:56 p.m. Saturday and arrested a 46-year-old Baltimore, Md., man for stowing away on a railroad property.

———

Deputies investigated a report from the Beaver Creek Park manager Saturday at 9:41 p.m. that a live tree had been cut down and on the park and litter left in the campground.

———

Deputies investigated a report from a 15th Street Northeast residence at 2 p.m. Sunday that some neighboring kids had tried to steal the caller's vehicle battery.

———

After a caller reported two men fighting outside the Box Elder Catholic Church Sunday at 7:40 p.m., deputies investigated the incident.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to nine medical calls and made two transports since Thursday morning. Friday at 4:22 p.m. fire crews also responded to a report of a fire in the refuse container on a Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation garbage truck. The truck was pulled over on 2nd Street in Havre and fire personnel distinguished the fire by filling the container area with water. The driver was asked to call Rocky Boy for instructions to an open area where the refuse could be dumped and monitored for smoldering embers.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held a female black and tan German shepherd and a male black and tan cat.

A girl was born May 14, 2013, to Stephanie and Roger Larson Jr. of Havre.

A boy was born May 16, 2013, to Keturah Walker and Jonathan Seaton of Box Elder.
