Collier victim of Thursday's Havre crash

Authorities released the name of a man who died in a car crash in Havre Thursday.

Hill County Sheriff and Coroner Don Brostrom said Wesley B. Collier, 31, was the victim who died of injuries sustained in the crash about 11 p.m. Thursday.

Havre police reported last week that Collier apparently was traveling west on the 1100 Block of 9th Street when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree near the Havre Skate Park.

He was taken to Northern Montana Hospital and life flighted to Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, where he later died.

A representative of the Havre Police Department said this morning that no one was available to comment on the investigation into the crash.
