Madilon Mahle, 85, of Havre passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013, at Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes. A prayer vigil for Madilon is scheduled in Anaconda for Tuesday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m., followed by her funeral and burial on Wednesday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. A luncheon following the burial will take place at Holy Family Community Center. A memorial, in her memory, may be sent to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements in Havre, and Longfellow Finnegan Funeral Home has been entrusted with services in Anaconda.

Madilon Kelly was born to Robert and Matilda (Tuchscherer) Kelly in Anaconda, Mont., on Sept. 23, 1927. She graduated from Anaconda High School and attended Montana Tech, School of Mines, in Butte, Mont. Madilon later married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Mahle, in 1954, in Anaconda.

During their marriage, she followed her husband, Kenneth, as his career took him from Anaconda to Minnesota, Havre, Butte, and back to Havre where Madilon resided until her death.

Madilon and Ken had three children, Mark of Vancouver, Wash., Mary (Gene) Keith, Winnemucca, Nevada, and Kevin (Peggy) Mahle, Havre, Mont.

Throughout the years, Madilon enjoyed hosting and attending the many family gatherings. The family was very sacred to her. She was also an avid golfer and bowler in her younger years. Madilon belonged to many golfing and bowling leagues.

While in Havre, Madilon was employed with J.C. Penney's. She also belonged to Catholic Daughters of America, Northern Montana Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered her services with the Feed My Sheep Soup Kitchen. In addition to these services, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The last six years, Madilon resided at Northern Montana Care Center, where she enjoyed visits from her family and friends.

Madilon was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her three sisters, Margaret Kelly Kenny, Edna Marie Kelly Kenny, Katie Kelly Dee and one brother, Robert "RA" Kelly.

In addition to her three children, Madilon is survived by her grandchildren, Kris Keith of Great Falls, Malinda Domire of Winnemucca, Nev., Darren and Michael Keith of Havre, Maura and Tara Mahle of Vancouver, Wash., and eight great-grandchildren.
