Mina S. Nesslar
Mina S. Nesslar, 96, passed away Sunday, April 14, in Chinook of natural causes. She was born in Malta, Mont., to Peder J. and Anna C. Slind.
She married Frank R. Nesslar Dec. 30, 1933, in Chinook. Mina spent most of her years on the family farm in Paradise Valley.
She enjoyed being outside and everything that was involved in running the farm where cattle and various other animals were raised as well as hay and grain. She sold eggs and cream to local people and loved the chance to visit while making deliveries. She later moved to Havre, where she resided until her health required her to reside in the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home.
She enjoyed quilting and was known to make quilts for her grandchildren, whom she enjoyed spending time with.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; and her brother, Palmer.
Survivors include her son, James (Janice) Nesslar of Havre; and two daughters, Julia (Harry) Friede of Chinook and Ellen (Thornton) Lindsay of Havre
Survivors also include numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
As per her request, no services will be held. Memorials may be sent to one's choice. Arrangements have been made with Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
