Three arraigned for selling meth in Havre

Three men were arraigned in federal District Court in Great Falls on accusations including being arrested in Havre with more than two pounds of methamphetamine.

Jesus Heriberto Ramirez-Soto, a Mexican national, along with Don Edward Lyle and Stuart Morgan Pattie, both of Lincoln County, entered not guilty pleas to charges of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute meth and two counts of distribution of meth.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Keith Strong ordered all three defendants remain in custody after hearings on their requests for release, saying in each order that the accused could not show public safety could be ensured if they were released.

Strong also noted that Ramirez-Soto has strong ties to Mexico and could be considered a flight risk.

The three men are accused of selling meth in Kalispell April 6, and in Havre April 13. They were arrested in Havre following a multi-agency investigation.
