Only a freshman, Havre High tennis star Jeff Miller is really making a name for himself. Miller recently split sets with Glacier's Kellan Bates at the Helena Invitational, becoming only the second Montana tennis player to do so. Miller has played No. 1 singles for the Blue Ponies and has composed a 21-6 record this season. Also a standout in golf and baseball, Miller will enter next week's Central A Divisional as one of the top seeds in the tournament.

Peyton Filius, Havre Track

Lewistown and Malta brought strong track and field teams to Havre last Saturday. But it didn't slow down HHS junior Peyton Filius. The Havre standout swept the 400 and 800 meters in the triangular against the Eagles and M-Ettes Saturday afternoon at the Havre Middle School Track. Filius, a state qualifier a year ago, will be a strong contender to win multiple events at next weekend's Central A meet in Livingston. Filius is also a standout in basketball and volleyball.
