Scott D. Hauser, 57, died following a cardiac arrest at his residence in Hingham on Sunday, Feb. 3.

Rosary prayers will be 12:30 p. m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester. A funeral mass will follow at 1 p. m. at the mortuary.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p. m. at Hingham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to St. Joseph Seminary, 15384 North Church Road, Rathdrum, Idaho 83858, or to the charity of the donor's choice

Scott is survived by his father, Ted Hauser of Hingham; his mother, Carolyn Hauser of Joplin; seven children, Erin, Mary, Katy, Theresa, Chris, Micheal and Andrew; six siblings, Brian, Chris, Chuck, Matt, Ted and Allyn; and his good friend and companion, Sheila Duncan of Joplin.
