Toni was born on May 2, 1920, to Francesco and Christina (Medajia) Fillicetti in Havre. She was raised there, graduating from Havre High School. Following her school years, she met and married Leon Guerra. The couple operated the Jubilee together for 20 years before they sold it in 1982. Toni was also a wonderful homemaker who put her family first.
Toni was a great storyteller. She was kind and loving, but feisty and outspoken, always standing up for what she thought was right. She had a gullible side as well. Toni was loved by the community and wanted everyone to call her Nonnie (Italian for grandmother). She was a social butterfly, who enjoyed being involved with St. Jude's church and school activities. She was always on the go and a phenomenal fundraiser, and she always wanted to bet "just a little" on sports, even though she didn't care which teams were playing. Toni loved to shop, especially with her grandkids, and cooking Italian food was one of her favorite pastimes. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, the Eagles, the Catholic Daughters, and St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church. Most of all, though, her family was her life, and she enjoyed spending as much time with them as she could. Toni enjoyed and loved living with her granddaughter, Nannette Ellis.
She was a cherished member of their family. She played an important role in raising her great-grandson, Tyler Ellis.
Toni was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, in 1991; her parents; her sisters, Carmella Deady and Mary Fillicetti; and her brothers, Sam and Natalie Fillicetti.
She is survived by her daughter, Annette Moen of Havre; her grandchildren, Nannette (Daniel) Ellis of Havre, Anjanette (Mark) Campanella of Helena, and Sean Moen of Havre; and her great-grandchildren, Tyler Ellis of Missoula, Kasey and Rachael Campanella of Helena, and Abby and Gauge Moen, and Kody Campanella, all of Havre.
